 Wilson v Hartley some near bowling by both with Wilson falling over the post first.
Big G Franklin v the Honorable Garry Blackburn hopefully Garry will look at this as just another step towards his inevitable glory.

 Last of the prelims saw C Bray v D Marshall nip and tuck, tup & nick,

Phil Smith v M Rhodes Phil was probably worried Jackson would score more than him( he did )  Rhodes wins.
Wilkinson v Glazzard, Wilky played it close ran out a big lead but corner bowler Jack found a couple of corners to his liking and game.
lee van cleef ( Griffiths) v J Blackburn Griffiths out guns Blackburn.
J Dyson v T Quinn, Quincy saying at the end he couldn't buy a win! JD saying he didn't offer enough. 
father v son Bray close game  but the Son Smiling now.

BUCKLEY v RHODES 20/20 Buckley leads the Jack bowls 1st wood 1.5 yrds rhodes no better is this when nerves of steel comes to Barry's help!!!!!!!!!!! NO!! he bowls wrong peg Mick Rhodes bowls one in.
GLAZZARD v D Griffiths (l v c ) Jack tucked himself into the corners Dave managed to prise him out but to no avail ,little jack corner won the tale.
 JD Dyson v Joe Bray  Joe played the corners very well  with inly a few ends letting JD back in but at the end Joe was still smiling.
Franklin v Wilson some close ends Franklin  wins.

J Bray v G Franklin both showed good leading but G made pairs count.

Jack got off the best 8-2 up, the Graeme found some form 10-9
nip and tuck 17-17 but tw singles and a pair later saw the 2009 AVISON CUP WINNER
